FRENCH WWI ARTILLERY ADRIAN HELMET

An extremely nice example of the Adrian artillery helmet, with a magnificent amount of horizon blue remaining in a bright form, with its crossed cannon RF flaming grenade badge on the front and a contrasting light tan sweatband. The liner to the interior is the standard 7 tongue, two of the tongues have been partially eaten away by a rodent. The liner has its original drawstring, and the helmet is in lovely condition apart from the rodent damage. The liner is marked size ‘56’. A very descriptive label of the period of production of the helmet is still attached to the helmet.
