ENGLISH VICTORIAN HUNTERS BOWIE DISPLAY PIECE

A very nice Bowie-bladed knife, blade measuring 14.5cm. Maker marked ‘J. Howill & Sons, Sheffield, England, established AD 1700. One side is mint bright, the other side with some light surface rust spotting, with its stag grip and oval cross guard. Fitted into its purpose-made Bowie-style leather scabbard with its hilt retaining strap, with the male/female pop stud intact and working correctly.
