BRITISH WWII SCOTS GUARDS ROYAL ARMOURED CORPS EXPERIMENTAL HELMET

The standard shape of a paratrooper helmet with its 1-inch fibre rim was trialled by the Royal Armoured Corps. This is for an officer of the Scots Guards, part of the Guards Armoured Division, which has a slight crease to the skull. Scots Guards insignia painted to either side, with an experimental style of officers' interior liner in red leather and webbing with rubber cushions. Complete with the Armoured Corps, Brodie elasticated webbing chinstrap and rubberised head cushion.
