BRITISH WWII ROYAL MARINE COMMANDO BERET AND ARTEFACTS

A full grouping of artefacts: King's Crown Royal Marine brass badge attached to the green beret, behind the beret, the area has been strengthened with a section of camouflage, possibly from a Denison smock material with a brass plate with the number attached ‘23442942 ’; this indicates possibly just post war beret. Accompanying the beret is a small collection of photographs with one stunning photograph of a group of Royal Marine Commandos in the field wearing their cap comforters, camouflage faces all carrying their weapons. An identity tag with the name ‘Yates’ with the matching number to the plate behind the beret. Some Royal Marine buttons . A wartime plastic economy Royal Marine badge.
