BRITISH WWII PERSONALISED 43 DATED DISPLAY PIECE

A superb military-issue kukri that has been personalised by its wearer. Standard kukri shape, blade dark overall, one chip to the blade close to the point. Faint markings plus the last digit in the date ‘43’. The whole of the hilt and wooden scabbard has been covered in a beautifully hand woven wicker work, there is minor looseness of the strands at the very point of the scabbard, otherwise it is in incredible condition considering its age.
