BRITISH WWII MANSFIELD & SON SHOE FACTORY WARDEN’S HELMET

A standard all-black Brodie helmet with the central ‘W’ for Warden below M & S. The label attached to this helmet indicates that it was owned by a W.Roe who was employed by Mansfield & Son shoe factory in Northampton, England. We bought this collection in Northampton. The original owner’s name is applied to a label on the inner crown, dated ’ 1939 ’. The liner is good, all drawstring complete with their elasticated webbing chinstrap.
