BRITISH WWII HOME FRONT BRODIE HELMET

Standard Brodie helmet, two indentations to the crown, painted black with the letter ‘A’ stencilled to the front. The inner liner is size stamped and dated ‘1939’. Original owner’s name hand-painted in green paint to the inner shell, also some scratched initials. The shell is dated ‘1939’ with the maker's stamp ‘JSS’ with its elasticated chinstrap.
