A very nice example of the 1st pattern Fairbairn Sykes knife, the blade is absolutely untouched, it has not been reprofiled or shortened. The Wilkinson Sword logo and the FS logo on both fortes of the blade are slightly thin. Excellent nickel plating to the S-shaped cross guard and to the machine-engraved cross-hatched hilt. The stud at the top of the hilt still has its original Billet clamp marks. Fitted into its correct pattern scabbard, with slight creasing and minor indentations to the nickel-plated lower scabbard chape. The leg tabs have been removed. The male/female hilt retaining strap is complete and working with its Newey press stud. A very good example of this highly desirable knife. The sale of Knives, other Edged Weapons and firearms is restricted to those aged over 18.
