British WWI Yorkshire Hussars Officers Visor Cap

A classic First World War floppy officers khaki visor cap, typical of the period. The crown shows slight moth nips and some areas where the cloth nap is missing. Fitted with general service subdued khaki side buttons and the traditional narrow chinstrap. Complete with the officers bronze badge of the Yorkshire Hussars, adding authentic regimental detail.

Inside, the mid-brown grained leather sweatband displays signs of considerable wear but remains fully intact. The waterproof lining on the upper inner crown is also intact, although some non-original internal padding paper has adhered to the crown lining due to heat. Estimated cap size is approximately 54 or 55.
