BRITISH WWI YORKSHIRE HUSSARS OFFICERS VISOR CAP

A classic shape hat of the First World War is the floppy officers' khaki visor cap. Slight moth nips to the crown and some nap of cloth missing. General Service subdued khaki coloured side buttons with the classic narrow chinstrap. Complete with its officers' bronze badge of the Yorkshire Hussars. To the interior, the mid brown grained leather sweatband has seen considerable wear and use; it is all intact, its waterproof covering to the upper inner crown is intact and due to heat, some internal padding paper, non-contemporary, has adhered itself to the crown lining. Cap size approximately 54 or 55.
