Out of all the combatant nations of WWI, finding boots and trousers is possibly the most difficult item of any uniform to obtain. The reasons are simple, both the trousers and the boots were worn by working men on their return from the conflict. This excellent pair of 1902 pattern combat trousers, with a slight moth around the right-hand pocket aperture, also identical moth on the opposite pocket aperture, one moth hole on the upper thigh and two moth holes in the lower seat area, otherwise moth-free and with all original nap to the cloth present. Standard double stitched at the base of each side pocket. Zinc buttons. Some wear uses staining on the inner light cream cotton lining. Devoid of any markings. Waist size approximately 30 to 32 inches.
