British WWI Enlisted Man’s Breeches

A very scarce pair of jockey-type enlisted breeches from the First World War, showing clear period use yet remaining in excellent overall condition. Complete with all original laces and fitted with zinc buttons, each marked with the number-over-letter WD stamp to the cotton lining. Minor moth nips are present around the crotch area, with one larger moth hole to the lower seat. Constructed with all typical WWI features, including the distinctive double stitching beneath the pocket apertures. A rare and desirable example of wartime legwear.
