British WWI Canadian Army Medical Corps Helmet

An issued quality Brodie helmet fitted with an officer’s liner by Hawkes & Co, Savile Row. The liner is in superb condition, complete with its original chinstrap and bearing a clear patent date of ‘1917’.

This example is essentially an enlisted man’s helmet retrofitted with a private purchase officer’s liner. The front bears a red flash of the Canadian Army Medical Corps, featuring the outline of the Rod of Asclepius.

Included is a period-typed descriptive label attached by the original owner, offering unique provenance and insight. A rare and characterful piece of WWI Canadian militaria.
