A fine example of the 1907 sword bayonet featuring an excellent blade with multiple clear markings. The undamaged wooden grips complement the original 1914 pattern grained brown leather frog and matching helve stick holder, which is marked ‘HGR 1915’. Included with the set is the original helve stick; however, it has suffered significant woodworm damage and is cracked in two places. While we will take care during shipping, we cannot guarantee the helve stick will survive the journey. Fortunately, helve sticks are relatively easy to source, making the leather holder the rare and valuable part of this grouping.
