British WWI 1902 Pattern Royal Welsh Fusiliers Tunic

A service-worn and untouched 1902 pattern British combat tunic, formerly worn by a Corporal in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. The cloth shows thinning nap, with three small moth holes to the upper rear panel and one large tear beneath the left armpit. All original regimental pattern buttons are present except for one lower pocket button, which has been replaced. Shoulder boards display the flaming grenade with “RWF” title below, complemented by flaming grenade collar badges. Additional details include a green company lanyard and a marksmanship cross with rifles on the lower right sleeve. The interior lower pocket bears two separate wearers’ names—one stamped, one handwritten—with a third set of initials in green ink applied to the lining, suggesting the tunic may have been worn by three different men. The remains of the original paper label are still visible.
