British Trade Musket Display Piece

An excellent condition smoothbore flintlock trade musket, closely resembling the Brown Bess in style and construction. The lock is plain and unmarked; the butt stock bears Indian Arsenal markings. The woodwork is generally excellent throughout, with three brass pipes beneath the stock and the original ramrod present. The flintlock action functions perfectly and appears to retain its original strap. Barrel length 39 inches with clear English proof marks.
