British Pre-WWI Royal Scots Enlisted Ranks Glengarry

A fine example of a late Victorian Glengarry cap worn by an enlisted man of the Royal Scots. Complete with its original tails, the cap is in lovely condition and retains the maker’s label ‘Thistle’ along with a paper size tag marked ‘6¾’. Notably, there are no additional holes, indicating no other badge was ever fitted. The absence of dicing confirms this as a pre-dicing, late Victorian issue. A rare and well-preserved piece of early British military headgear.
