British Post-WWII Paratrooper Helmet

A superb and close to unworn example of a British Paratrooper helmet, size 7¼. The exterior paint remains in mint condition, and the interior lining is near mint. The light tan leather sweatband is clearly stamped C.C.L 1956.

The chinstrap cradle is maker stamped C.C.L 1000, broad arrow marked, and dated 1945. The upper crown cushion is present and complete. Notably, 1956 marked the only occasion since WWII when a full battalion combat parachute drop occurred—during the Suez Crisis. A top-condition example with strong historical relevance.
