British/Canadian WWI Canadian Stiff Top Cap

A rare WWI Canadian stiff top cap, maker-stamped in Montreal and dated 1917, size 6¾. The cap retains its original crown, largely free of moth damage, though there is light mothing to the rear. Slight discoloration is present but does not detract from the overall appearance.

Fitted with the original Canadian bronze badge, correct Canadian side buttons, and the original narrow leather chinstrap with twin buckles. A scarce and desirable example of Canadian WWI headgear.
