AUSTRIAN WWI ENLISTED RANKS BOOTS

As is well known amongst collectors, obtaining the footwear and trousers of any of the combatant nations of WWI is extremely difficult, the reason being that most of these boots and trousers were worn out after the soldier’s return from the front. This is a rare pair of Austrian WWI enlisted ranks boots, of relatively small size, complete with all the nails and cleats on the soles and heels. Nine eyelets to each boot. The identity of these boots has been confirmed to us by a leading collector in Italy of Austrian and Italian WWI items.
