Australian WWI Ammunition Pouches

A scarce and distinctive set of all-leather Australian-made WWI ammunition pouches, identical in design to the British 1908 pattern, featuring five compartments on each pouch.

Clearly stamped ‘AUSTRALIA’ to the base of one of the cross strap attachment straps, with the leather retaining a good, rich colour throughout.

A fine example of Australian Great War equipment.
