AMERICAN WWI M.17 DOUGH BOY HELMET

An unissued condition dough boy helmet, size 7 1/8th. The liner is stamped ‘R.H.Long’ with the date ‘7/18’. Only light storage age; a few marks from another helmet laying on top of it, which can be cleaned off. The helmet liner has seen some wear but is intact and has not suffered from what is known as American red rot. American chinstrap present.
