Marked Roman numeral II on the reverse of the lower cross guard. Ebony wood grip in excellent condition with some minor indentations. High-quality national eagle and undamaged enamel to the SS runic inset. Upper grip mount excellent. The domed nut to the dagger has not been abused by previous owners trying to open it with a set of pliers. In its matching anodised scabbard with early quality upper and lower scabbard mounts, the lower scabbard mount has some minor indentations to the front and is slightly flattened to the lower ball. Complete with its suspension ring, all four screws are present for the scabbard mounts.
