Virtually mint blade with all original cross-grain polishing remaining, with the contrasting deep grey of the motto proud. The only markings on the blade are the rubbing of the internal scabbard brass blade retaining bands. Early heavy nickel upper and lower cross guard mounts, with the lower cross guard marked with a letter ‘S’. Undamaged brown wood grip, with nice quality national eagle and undamaged enamel to the SA insignia. The anodising to the scabbard is present but faint. Both matching nickel scabbard mounts, with all screws intact.
