The army decal is by Huber-Jordan with a corresponding tricolour shield. The paint is an early smooth texture and the liner is a 1939 dated reinforced aluminium model. The chinstrap is the pre-war aluminium-mounted example. Fabulous condition shell, with all of the original apple green finish remaining, some slight losses to the white section of the national tricolour and minor abrasions to the armed forces decal. The liner itself, with its original drawstring showing wear but retaining good colour, has a complete and undamaged chinstrap, which at the tip is faintly maker-marked; the date cannot be seen.
