This cuff title is incredibly rare; it can be removed from the cover very gently if so desired. On opening the cover, the period between 37 and 42 is annotated in the year-by-year process. The album contains 159 images. Every image is annotated, and in many cases the people within the images are identified. The album begins with local landscape shots and visits to cities. We turn to February 1938, a small-format image of Horst Volrath in his NPEA uniform, hatless. Volrath is sitting, looking at a wall full of his citations, wearing his NPEA uniform and his Napola School Ballenstedt cuff title that is now pasted to the first album in this series. Images of the outside of the Napola School, Ballenstedt. Coach trips with uniformed HJ or Napola students. We then begin a series of a huge amount of images at Hitler Youth and Napola Rallies in 1938. Various uniforms being worn, games being played, general HJ camp life, being reviewed by Senior HJ officers. A good close-up of Hitler Youth headdress. 1939 has a series of images which appear to be taken in the Balkans with many images of local folk. One image which appears to be the bridge at Mostar in Croatia. Internal shots of the City of Sarajevo. A large format photograph of a Napola wedding, all of the Napola School senior students in their uniform all wearing the Napola Bellenstedt cuff title. The album moves into 1940-41 with pictures of an unidentified army NCO.
